WELCOME TO BRIDGEPORT
Bridgeport: The sparkling home of the biggest movie stars, playboys, and partygoers obsessed with the nightlife. The city flourished with its many dance clubs and lounges scattered throughout the islands all under the watchful eye of its eccentric mayor.
Our story begins at the 'Glass Pillar' Apartments. Caroline Custard was one of those sims who fit in quite well in the city. Being a professional blogger with hopes of becoming a journalist put Caroline right in the middle of the action. It was quite a change from her small hometown. She loved it. She rarely spent her free time at the apartment but when she felt like just lounging she was home on her laptop and often teasing her roommate, Victor about being so reserved and not getting out enough. She'd often look at him with wonder and curiosity. Victor was comfortable with how he lived and usually ignored most of her partying advice. He knew she meant well and he'd tell himself he'd hang out with her eventually to see what all the fuss was about. The last time she was able to drag him out of the apartment was on her business trip to Shang Simla. Even there he squeezed in some time to pick up a book but most times he was nowhere to be found and Caroline could only hope he knew his way back to their spot. The martial arts practice dummy she got for him still stood in the corner of the bedroom and looked rather nice as a decorative souvenir. On some occasions, Victor would give it a go, trying out what he had learned in Shang Simla. He's also got a kick out of seeing Caroline goof off swiping at it like an insect about to fly in her hair.
Caroline came home from work excited! Romeo Rake, the wealthy playboy himself, agreed to an interview which would surely boost her performance at work! To celebrate, she pulled Victor from his chair to a club called 'The Grind' Victor had never heard of such a place. It was on the edge of town and opened every afternoon 4pm to 4am (like most clubs in Bridgeport). On the drive, Victor was a little nervous not knowing what to expect but also excited! Caroline was pumped as well and couldn't wait to get inside. At first, Victor clung to her like a kid on 'Take your Child to Work Day' but once he heard the music and saw the bright lights, confetti, fog machines and flames erupting from the floor, he wandered off to explore. Upstairs, there were, even more, lights, special effects, and even flashy multicolored sofas to sit back and take it all in. As he made his way downstairs, Victor headed over to the bar. He wasn't much of a drinker but curiosity drew him in. There was this girl sitting alone with the mixologist and Victor couldn't help but notice an aurora around her... As she turned around Victor was stunned! This girl was a vampire! She was just having a good time relaxing with a drink. 'The Grind' was probably a place that welcomed vampires before the 'Ban'. Every now and then you could spot some lurking around like an endangered species. Sims were divided on this issue being one of the more debatable and controversial decisions made by the mayor. There were fewer attacks since the then but unfortunately, the victims of the attacks became vampires themselves and were forced to leave Bridgeport as well. Victor watched as she hopped up and started dancing to the music without a care in the world. His attention snapped back to a voice behind the counter. It was the mixologist of the club and her name was Becca. She knew Caroline as a regular but she'd never seen Victor before. Attempting to make him feel at home, she offered him a drink. The names of these beverages sounded so foreign to Victor he was hesitant and a little worried about the after effects. Becca made a quick recommendation and mixed together something she felt Victor would like. Something a little harder than juice but not too 'lethal.' Any other night, Caroline would've made her way over to tell Victor all of her recommendations but she saw what was going on. Not wanting to interrupt, she stayed away letting them chat. She figured this would be good for him. Besides, she'd have plenty of time to tease him on the drive home.
Days later, Victor asked Becca out to the Art Gallery. It didn't take very long for her to make up her mind and she arrived at the front of the building in minutes. Victor couldn't help but notice her clothes. they were so different from what she wore at the club. The colorful makeup and dazzling clothes were gone and replaced with a black dress with her hair up in a bun. Victor smiled trying to start a conversation after realizing he was staring lol. As they walked around, He told Becca about his love for music and being Caroline's roommate for a quite a while considering her as family. He also felt she was his exact opposite as he joked around about not being much of a partyer and how she finally dragged him to the club. Becca seemed glad that Caroline brought him along, assuring him there were no monsters that came out at night so he could come see her anytime. At Becca's job, she enjoyed meeting sims. She has heard many stories from the customers. Some were bizarre especially when they had a drink or two making them even funnier. Sometimes even she would pop in on her off days to have fun. It seemed, she'd have herself a new dance partner....or at least someone she could teach. The only family she had in Bridgeport was her sister, Sugar. They were distant and she didn't want anything to do with her. Becca didn't care for her popularity among the celebrities in town. She felt Sugar had a tendency to flirt too much and was just irresponsible. She used to date that rapper, Tom Wordy before he disappeared a while back and then she moved on to dating the mayor himself. Becca had never met Dahven in person but if he could put up with Sugar, he was probably qualified to run a city.
MEET THE MAYOR
Bridgeport never had a mayor quite like Dahven Orvo. He easily won sims over with his charm and charisma. Most of his public speeches and press conferences involved a light show for the people's entertainment. He also gained popularity for exposing and firing Jeffery Cook who was viewed by most as a greedy politician. Bridgeport had come a long way from being an old shipping town and Orvo was dedicated to keeping it vibrant and exciting. He had an Inner circle with 2 assistants/bodyguards. Mason was disciplined studying many forms of combat and a sim of few words. Conor, an outspoken arrogant sim who had become a bit of a celebrity himself due to his partying and bad temper. They each resided in different corners of the city in order to have more eyes watching over Bridgeport.
Becca called up Victor seeming a little irritated. Her sister asked her to come to the park to help support an event hosted by Dahven. Clearly, Becca didn't want to go, but Victor was more than happy to escort Becca and perhaps take away some of the tension. Sims started gathering at the park looking around wondering where the mayor was. Among the small crowd was Caroline eager to add an extra notch on her blogger belt. A car pulled up but Conor was the only one who got out. Nobody dared approach the bad boy bodyguard so everyone just waited. When Victor and Becca arrived, they singled out Sugar among the sims looking as if she was waiting for a cue. Becca was not very excited to see her and didn't seem like she wanted to greet her at all. She could sense Victor's concern and wanting to tell her that she has to talk to her. As they began to walk over, there was a sudden beam of light and buzzing of electricity. As it faded out, they could see a silhouette of a man standing in the middle.... No doubt this was one of the Mayor's dazzling entrances appearing before everyone on the sidewalk. Everyone was impressed including Victor but it seemed as if Becca had seen it all before and was more focused on trying to get through the day with her sister. She forced a smile as Sugar came over leaving Dahven to meet and greet the other sims. Sugar was overjoyed to see her sister but Becca kept wondering whether this was true excitement or was she also pretending, avoiding the elephant in the room, showing off in front of her flashy political boyfriend? As Sugar looked over to Victor, Becca looked at her as if she was silently saying 'Don't you start.' Dahven made his way over to the group and introduced himself. A friendly chat began between Victor and the Mayor as they moved a little distance from the ladies. Dahven admired the humble but confident personality of Victor. The young sim reminded the mayor of himself long ago. He mentioned that he wished more sims had his traits but also told Victor that boldness has its place in success as well and sims won't always be on his side. He believed there was power behind every 'lifetime wish and the rewards were priceless ;) Victor took this all in and thanked him for the advice. It was getting late and Victor, Becca and most of the other sims went home. Dahvan and Sugar were about to take off as well until a sim in black ran toward them. He was so fast the sim became a blur and Dahven knew this was an attack by a vampire who managed to sneak his way into Bridgeport. He was face to face with the sim who banished his kind. Conor was nowhere to be found so Dahven engaged the angry vampire sim in combat. Dahven showed no emotion as he dodged and blocked every move followed by some of his own. It began to be clear that the vampire was no match and a smile appeared on Dahvens face. The vampire lay on the ground in defeat, witnessed by only Sugar and a homeless man who was awoken from his nap on a park bench by all the commotion. It was a shame Caroline had already left because this would've made one heck of a story for her resume... As he got up from the ground, he looked at Dahven in pain but didn't leave, showing that he didn't regret attacking him. That moment, Something very strange happened. The vampire's eyes got wide with fear as he began to shiver... he looked at the ground and held his arms tightly as his body temperature started dropping. He didn't know what was happening to him and perhaps for the first time in this vampire's life, he wished for the warmth of sunlight. His body froze and became a pillar of ice. Dahven looked over at the homeless sim and just walked away.
THE RICH AND DANGEROUS
Over at the Barrymore, the playboy himself, Romeo was taking a break and a big risk as this was Conor's spot and he wasn't one to share the spotlight with other popular sims in Bridgeport. Fortunately, there was no sight of the bad boy but someone else came through the door that night and had a bone to pick with Romeo. It was the old man from the park. The bartender was ready to serve him the usual but the sim didn't even acknowledge him and sat next to Romeo. The playboy looked over at him trying to match his face with anyone he knew. The old man known as Sam started talking about the end of the world. Romeo automatically assumed he had a drink or two before coming in as Sam rambled on about what he planned to do about stopping the mayor as if he had some type of power or even cared for politics. Afterall, 'the cops could handle that type of thing' , Romeo suggested. Romeo laughed and walked off into the bathroom. Sam quickly followed and started to annoy the playboy. Sam began taunting and insulting him about his candy-coated party lifestyle and how it was all a stupid facade. Romeo stared the old sim down as if he was going to knock him out but at the same time....he was intrigued by the old man's babeling and let him continue.
Over at the 'Big Bling' Mansion, The mayor thought about his future plans for the city. He also thought about his inner circle and how he could prevent incidents such as the one at the park. Perhaps he could recruit someone who wasn't as reckless or impulsive as Conor. What happened with the Vampire was an oversight and the blame lay heavily on the bodyguard. Someone he could mold into a better protege... As Sugar walked into the dining room to see if there was anything he needed, Dahvan looked out at the window in silence. It was time for a change. There was something about her sister's new 'boyfriend' and Dahven wanted to know what it was.
THE SIMPLE THINGS
Becca and Victor became closer and she practically lived at the apartment. Becca was a master when it came to drink mixing but she honestly hadn't had much experience with cooking. One day, she attempted to make dinner but didn't turn out the way she'd hoped. Victor heard her in the kitchen and smelled the aroma assuming the meal was ready. He stopped his practice and noticed the dinner on the counter as Becca started preparing something else. It turned out she tried replacing the meal right after the one she felt was ruined. Before Becca could get the last minute autumn salad on the table, Victor was already there eating the first meal and enjoying it. Becca was speechless. She smiled and just sat down with him eating her plate of salad. Meanwhile, over at Romeo's apartment, Caroline had come over at for her interview. She was expecting a crowd of sims partying with him having to repeat herself over all the noise and booming stereo but it was actually just the two of them in the living room with soft music playing in the background. This intrigued Caroline. Did all his celebrity buddies and girlfriends just decide to stay home that night? Was he trying to make her girlfriend #5? She asked her questions and began learning more about him. There were some for her interview and others she just really wanted to know for herself. That night, she got a glimpse of Romeo the sim beyond the playboy, beyond the public's impression. Pretty soon he teased her about the cute sunglasses she wore indoors and started asking her about her life making the party girl blush a little.
Later that night, Sam showed up at Romeo's seeming very weary and exhausted. This didn't stop Romeo from giving him a hard time, asking if he walked all the way there. Maybe he should've invested in a car? Of course, a few insults were fired back from Sam but he hardly had the energy to put up with the jokes. The look of defeat and hopelessness persuaded Romeo to relent and the conversation from the bar continued. What could Sam have seen in his life to bring him to this young sim's house, giving him this cryptic information? Sam basically told Romeo that he was 'done' and Bridgeport's fate depended on him now. After the old man left, Romeo was not laughing at all. He sat quietly thinking about everything this mysterious old sim had said and felt the responsibility come down on him like a ton of bricks. You see Romeo had been keeping a huge secret from the public. He was Triple Agent, Romeo Rake. He was probably the closest Bridgeport had at protecting the city and he'd surely have to try convincing his buddies from Bridgeport PD to help him in this fight for the cities survival.
GLORY DAYS
The next morning Victor and Becca were headed out for a walk. Becca was the first to make it out of the apartment when she saw Sam on the ground. She ran over to see if he was okay and Sam got up and greeted her. Victor ran over soon after helping him up and taking him inside. The old man showed his gratitude, feeling as if this was the best thing that had happened to him in a long time. Victor and Becca canceled there outing to care for the old man curious about how he ended up on the sidewalk. Sam quickly assured them he was just tired and would be fine after a more comfortable nap on their couch. Neither Becca nor Victor hesitated to offer him a place to stay for the night. Too exhausted to refuse, Sam just went silent, falling asleep again. For one night the weight of the world felt a little lighter for the "Yellow Jacket".....
50 years ago, he was one of the world's most beloved superheros. Sims were amazed as he glided across the sky, rescuing sims from burning buildings and pummeling thugs and supervillains. Kids wanted to be just like him, wearing black and yellow striped shirts and parents' felt the impact as "Yellow Jacket" merchandise came along. He'd often work with his fellow super friends and unintentionally steal the spotlight from the dashing leader Major Steel. They used to call him Jack for short. Those were the good ol' days... but like many of us, Jack... Sam needed to be tested. It was one of the most epic battles in history...and probably the most tragic. He had lost his superhero friends/family to a tyrannical king who was able to enter the universe with the help of a trio known as the mysticals (A bittersweet tale for another time). It was a dark time in the world of heroes. It stayed with Sam for many years. The thought of being a superhero made him sick. He felt unworthy, falling into depression and finding comfort in drinking. And now this new threat was upon this city and Sam was conflicted. Sam used to live for this type of thing before it felt like a burden...and perhaps these events had sparked a sense of obligation.
SOMETHING MORE...
To repay Victor and Becca, he helped with cleaning and even repaired the sink that had a nasty leak. Even Caroline, though hesitant at first, accepted him into the household (having no idea he'd been sleeping in her comfy bed while she was working lol!) Sam noticed the practice dummy in the corner and figured Victor had an interest in martial arts. He was reminded of his prime when he'd often go toe to toe with some of his greatest enemies since he had no superpowers. Those days were long gone but didn't stop Sam's mind from wondering. Considering recent events and that Romeo and his boys may not be enough, what if a humble sim such as Victor took on the mantle? He seemed like a sim with a good heart but Sam then shook his head as if trying to forget the very thought of bringing him into that life. Perhaps he didn't want Victor to end up as he did. During his stay, these sims had reminded him of the good in life and the longer he stayed the harder it was to just sit and do nothing. Call it a hero's instinct. Sam had to take a walk to clear his head. For years he used to solve his problems with a drink but he could see the paths ahead and time was running out. Back at the apartment, Victor and the girls had a visitor. They weren't expecting anyone this late. It was Matilda Smart who worked over at the spa. It seemed she was there to see Victor more than the others which caught Becca off guard as he never mentioned her before. Something was off... They all knew Matilda but not as a very close friend. Victor probably only said a few words to her, Caroline knew her from the spa and Becca may have served her a drink at 'The Grind'...Then Becca smiled at Matilda as it seemed she was a little tipsy. She volunteered to escort her safely to the elevator. As they reached the bottom floor, Becca kindly welcomed her to come back another night. Becca's smile slowly disappeared as Matilda looked over at her and let out a fearsome growl. Her teeth were long fangs and her eyes turned bright yellow. Becca passed out from shock and at that moment Sam returned from his walk. He saw Becca on the floor and before Matilda could do anything he popped her right on the nose stunning her and she retreated. Sam helped Becca up as she did for him not too long ago. If he wasn't going to train Victor to be a world defending superhero, he could at least train him to protect his friends. It appeared that trouble had begun following this former Hero once more and he refused to bring it to the door of these new found friends who took care of him when he was down and out. Victor and Sam trained for days... Sam would coach the young sim on as his skill gradually increased the more time he put into using the Martial Arts Dummy.
(Training Montage)
One night after an intense workout, Victor sat in the middle of the room and began to meditate. The positive energy flowed through him making it easier to relax and focus. There were thoughts of Shang Simla, Becca and many other things that made him happy. His mindset was locked until he felt something within his body that he'd never felt before. This broke Victor's focus and almost his backside as he realized he was levitating and suddenly fell to the floor. He wasn't' sure how he was able to do it but Victor was eager to learn more.
ENTER TRIBLE
If looks could kill. Conor stood in front of the 'Big Bling' Household and didn't look very happy. From what it seemed, nobody was home to let him in but he had the suspicion that he was being ignored due to the failure at the park. Conor felt like he was being treated like a child. He was absolutely sure his Master was in there. To cool off, he headed over to a bar for a drink. It wasn't 'The Barrymore' but Conor didn't care. He was used to strange looks and more than happy to brawl with any sim who had a problem with him. He just needed to unwind for a while. He no longer had the support of his girlfriend who left him and later swore to kill him (Another story for another time). He saw Dahven with Victor that day at the park and noticed the look his master had while they talked. It was the same look he gave Conor before he got recruited. He dwelled on it and the drinks weren't helping to ease his paranoia. In Conor's mind, he knew his Boss couldn't avoid him forever. Trible couldn't handle it all himself, could he?
A paparazzi left the property of the Big Bling mansion pleased with the pictures he took. Little did he know, there was someone watching him. There was really no surprise that the mayor would draw attention from people like Lenny Shutter. As he parked his car in front of a restaurant to get a quick bite, Mason Trible waited patiently for the sim to finish so he could properly 'introduce' himself. When the time came, there was a handshake, and a joke or two to get a friendly conversation started. It was easy for Mason to come off as an ordinary sim as he worked in the shadows to protect the mayor. This advantage left Lenny oblivious to what the sim was up to or the fact that he was being followed home. It wasn't quite time for the sim to strike. After spotting the building where Lenny lived, Mason went back to his home where he used a technique to remain alert for hours, not needing rest. He remained in a meditative state all through the night and into the next day. He made his way over to Lenny's home confusing him as he didn't remember telling Trible where he lived. He shrugged it off and invited him in (sigh smh).
At this point, Mason felt it was time to wrap up this mission and report back to the Big Bling mansion. There was nothing more he needed from this sim.
Over at the big bling house, there was a heated Argument between Dahven and Conor. Are you trying to get rid of me?', asked Conor. Dahven looked at him and told him he was slipping and he couldn't afford another oversight. Conor grew angrier and shouted 'You'd drop me after all this time?!' Dahven: I took you in like a son and trained you to be a warrior. If you can't live up to what I've made you, then you've got no place here. Conor hung his head as a dog would after disappointing it's owner and stormed out of the room.
ALL FOR YOU
Things were getting back to normal after the incident with Matilda. Victor was coming along well with his martial arts practice as well as music. He received an invitation from the school to perform for the kids. They thought he was great and everyone had a good time. It seemed like the school was about to have another visitor as he walked up the steps of the school. It was Mayor Orvo. Victor thought it was a little odd for him to show up this late. All the kids were on their way home. He greeted Victor as he waited for everyone to leave. 'Its good to see you again' said Dahven. 'Keep this up and you'll be the next Major Steel'.. 'Im just an ordinary sim', said Victor. 'No. If you were I wouldn't be here.' said Dahven. Victor was confused. Dahven stood in a sparring position, stating that he thought their paths had crossed for a reason. Victor was stunned at first but a smirk appeared on his face. He saw an opportunity to test his skills. They sparred right in front of the school. Victor recognized a few of Dahven's attacks but had to stay focused as unfamiliar moves were delivered. The mayor had a variety of combos that had Victor struggling to block. Luckily Dahven showed mercy as he saw the look of disbelief on Victor's face. Dahven assured him that he was pretty good and invited him over to the mansion for a chat. As it was getting late Victor declined the offer but the mayor could see that he had peaked his interest. Dahven grinned as he joked about how they shouldn't keep the ladies waiting. On his way home Victor was thinking about what had just happened. This guy was amazing. His skills seemed almost super-human. If he could learn some moves like that and apply it to Sam's technique, He'd be more than capable of protecting Becca.
CATCHING UP
Caroline was on her way home after a long day at work. She was getting popular and her interview opened new doors and much more work hours. All she wanted to do was have a shower, a glass of wine, climb in her bed and drift off. As she was walking, she suddenly heard someone pulling up beside her. She turned to see who it was and the young blogger's grumpy and exhausted look turned into a huge smile. It was none other than Mr. Playboy himself. Romeo offered her a ride which Caroline didn't refuse. It sure beat walking all the way to the apartment. Romeo could feel Caroline staring at him which made him smile. She thought to herself, 'Shouldn't he be at some party getting drunk?' and 'Where were all the women he's always with?' Romeo was a strong believer in moderation which comes in handy in his line of work ;). He walked her to the lobby and as he opened the door, he received quite a surprise. He has reunited once again with his old buddy, Sam. Romeo had been looking all over for him. Caroline was confused wondering how they could possibly know each other. Sam made a sarcastic remark about Romeo finally stepping up to the plate but Romeo ignored it nearly talking over the old man to tell him what had happened in the past few days.
Romeo drove to the Big Bling mansion. He didn't have much information to work with so he looked from his car at the property to see if anything seemed strange or out of place. Clearly, there was nothing he could spot from the outside and he was not going to break in. He sat there in his car just thinking if this was just a crazy story from some delusional old man There wasn't much he could do from there so he drove home.
As he made his way to the elevator he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around to see a sim ready to attack! A fight broke out and minutes later, Romeo successfully defeated the attacker having a good look at her leaving no choice but to flee. Romeo chased after her but not close enough for her to realize. This way, she'd think she was home free and head to a place with familiar surroundings where she felt comfortable. This was enough for Romeo to find her again a few days later. He wore casual clothes, blending in with the rest of the sims that were out and about. It was like she almost came back to him and Romeo came to the conclusion that she wasn't a professional. He stepped in front of her and began a casual interrogation. She said it was nothing personal. It was just a job. Romeo asked who she worked for and she wouldn't give him a straight answer. She spoke with arrogance but fear could be seen in her eyes as they began to fill up with tears. Apparently, she didn't want to anger the whoever she was working for. It seemed like she wanted a way out, dropping little hints about the sim Romeo was asking about and it was enough to confirm that it was indeed Dahven. He looked behind him to see if anyone was watching and reached for his notepad to take notes. As he looked back up she was gone...
The day after he immediately drove over to Lt. Rubble's house asking her to start an investigation on Orvo. She refused telling Rake that it was ridiculous and didn't want him wasting any more of her time. She didn't seem to even care if there were any witnesses. She walked past him in disgust and went to work. Romeo and Sam weren't going to get much help from her squad. After the attack on Romeo, he felt it was dangerous to be in the public eye. They were on their own and time was not on their side. Romeo asked Sam about the kid he was training but Sam immediately dismissed the idea telling him to leave him out of it.
WORTH A SHOT
Sometimes Victor and Becca wouldn't have much planned on their outings and just found things to do as they walked around the city. Victor hadn't told her about his sparring session in front of the school. During their time together Victor and Becca never really kept any secrets. Becca would tell Victor everything even if Sugar was brought up in the conversation but that was mostly from Becca just wanting to vent. Becca didn't seem too interested in anything or anybody associated with her sister so Victor didn't mention running into Dahven. He still thought about the invitation and even if it was for her, Becca would surely disapprove. Not wanting to kill the mood, Victor stayed silent about it. Becca was in high spirits as she pulled Victor into the city library. She thought of it as a sweet and funny gesture to take her guy to a place he'd like. There weren't many sims inside so they could use their normal voices without whispering back and forth. Victor expected her to get bored and suggest another place but they ended up spending the rest of the day there.
'We might have a chance'. Romeo and Sam were at the apartment having a talk with a few cops who had volunteered to help them. There was a knock on the door. It was Jeffery Cook and he had quite a story to tell. At first, one of the cops wanted to kick him out because of his bad reputation. For all they knew, he may have been sent by Dahven but they could see that the ex-politician had been recently attacked. He told the group that He was able to get into the Big Bling Mansion by his lover. She wasn't very familiar with the inner circle and let him in. He was able to sneak into the garage and saw Dahvens Alchemy station. He saw a few bottles of elixirs and a book of spells and curses believing it to be the source of the mayor's powers. If it were to be destroyed, they would definitely have a chance.
CHOICES
It was party time at the Big Bling Mansion. Everone in the inner circle was there and it had grown. Apparently, Lt. Rubble and her squad had been recruited and swore alliance to Dahven. Matilda Smart also came through the front gate running into Conor's arms revealing that he'd sent her to Victor's apartment to attack him unbeknownst to Dahven. It was definitely not the kind of party you would see in Bridgeport. These were Sims celebrating in darkness..eager to wreak havoc.
Mason went to Dahven to inform him that he had a visitor by the name of Victor. Dahven and the young sim sat away from the others and played a game of chess.
'Let me tell you about how I started,' said Dahven. 'I lived in a small apartment I was just like you, studying day and night hooked on learning about politics, power... Anything to better myself I had an interest in the supernatural. Victor looked up from the board and met Dahven's. 'There is a much bigger world out there than you know. When I worked under Jeffery Cook of the City Council I was already confident in my abilities. I realized he was holding me back. I did things his way for a while but there were signs of jealousy and wanting to control me. You know what I did?' He said with a chuckle. 'I burnt him. I produced a burst of fire and threw it at his backside. Victor thought he was just kidding and smiled back. Dahven continued: Once you have the power, you can have anything you want. Even if it's taking your boss' position or taking a beautiful woman and luxurious mansion from a Rap Superstar. Sims hope for the best in their lives but when you reach the highest point of superiority, you won't need to hope.. You just take it. Take it all. You have potential and I'm offering you a place at my side. It seems that animal playing around out there, drinking, womanizing (referring to Conor), I took him in like my own son.. now he's just an animal.' Victor did not like the vibes coming from Dahven or the sims in the house. It was a mistake coming here. Victor turned down the mayor's offer and that was that. Victor got up from the unfinished chess game and left the Big Bling Mansion. Conor glared at him as he walked away. Victor came home to Becca fast asleep in his bed. Content with the decision to turn down Dahven's offer he vowed to train even harder as he practiced on his dummy.
GRAND FINALE
A Triple Agent, a few cops, and an ex Superhero were about to embark on a mission to save a city from a powerful Demigod mayor. They were well aware of the possibility of not coming home especially Sam. This was bigger than them and they'd face it together. Romeo didn't bother with the disguises on this one. The rookie cop was a little nervous but ready. Sam wore his signature Black and yellow in the form of a sweatsuit as his old costume was long gone.
That afternoon Becca was getting ready for work when she received a call from Sugar. She was frantic. Apparently, Dahven found out she let Jeffery Cook into the house and was furious. Becca thought 'Here we go again.' why couldn't her sister stay out if trouble? Sugar asked Becca to bring her boyfriend to rough him up. That irritated Becca. Sugar wouldn't stop... 'Doesn't he know 'Karate'?' 'Just get him to come!' Becca was not going to bring Victor into this drama. Becca angrily told her to stop asking and to get somewhere safe until she got there.

Victor's meditation was interrupted by Caroline rushing into the room. She told him about the news reports and found out Becca was there. This shocked and angered Victor. He stood up, grabbed his armor and headed for the Mansion..Victor ran inside ignoring the battle between Lt. Rubble's squad and the Cops allied with Romeo and Sam.
It was as if Victor knew exactly where Becca was and nothing could stop him until Conor appeared in his path. They looked each other in the eye knowing what was about to happen. They ran at each other and both Sims leaped into the air. Conor tackled him into a bear hug twirling them both into a mid-air 360. As they fell to the ground, Victor immediately jerked back head-butting Conor forcing him to let go of the young sim. Conor let out an angry roar swinging at him repeatedly not landing any punches. Victor caught both arms and pulled his upper body towards the floor kneeing him in the face. Victor continued running on his set path as Conor hit the floor. As he was struggling to get out of a daze, his eyes began glowing bright yellow.
Sam and Romeo were occupied fighting Mason. They had been at this for a while and the disciplined sim had not even broken a sweat. Sam was frustrated and wheezing through the fight. Mason calculated every move they made, knowing when and where to hit them. At one point he had Romeo by the throat as he fought one-handed against the old Superhero. A vicious blow to the ribs sent Sam several feet across the room. As soon as he got up his jaw dropped in surprise as Mason threw Romeo right at him knocking Sam right back down. Mason charged at Romeo as he got up. He got ready for the attack but to Mason's surprise the playboy let down his guard and Mason tried stopping but failed by his own momentum. The confusion allowed Romeo to grab him and toss the sim right out of the window...missing the swimming pool outside.
They split up to find the garage and take down the mayor. Victor continued searching for Becca. He checked room after room calling out for her. He was intent on tearing the mansion apart until he found her. The fighting in the mansion, the sirens from the rest of the BPD showing up, the loud music.. everything around him was nearly tuned out as he kicked open every door in sight. He was so focused he didn't hear the sound of footsteps rapidly approaching him from behind. Conor had caught up with him drop-kicking Victor in the chest and putting him on the floor. As he looked up, there was Conor with glowing eyes and sharp fangs just like Matilda's pouncing on him like a wild animal finding its prey.
They wrestled for a moment then Victor finally saw a chance to knock Conor off of him. Conor used rage and brute force against his opponent. He was face to face with the Sim who could take his place at Dahven's side and it rattled him through the fight. Maybe it was from his inability to sweat during his werewolf phase but Conor became exhausted leaving himself open for Victor's roundhouse kick to his head. As Conor lay there unconscious Dahven entered the scene and sat in a chair congratulating Victor.
With all the chaos going on at his house, Dahven seemed pretty calm. He told Victor he never doubted him. The young sim marched toward the mayor grabbing him by his white coat asking one thing: 'Where's Becca?' The Mayor shook his head in disappointment. 'She has become your weakness...she'll keep you from your full potential. You'll be no different than that animal on the floor: Weak and Pathetic.' As Victor looked over at Conor he began changing back to his human form. 'I'm fine with that.' Victor said. 'If she's going to keep me from becoming someone like you, so be it'. Dahven smiled as he Knocked Victor off sending him flying. He slowly got up from his chair and apologized, letting the young sim know that he couldn't leave this place alive.
On the other side of the house, Jeffery found Sam and made their way to the garage where the Alchemy station was set up. They knew the next step as they nodded to each other.
The Lt. and her squad showed no hesitation in battling their former Friends. Unfortunately (for her), she and her squad began to lose her edge and her strength. Soon she was the only one left standing they were no match and Rubble was finally defeated.
Dahven truly believed in Victor's potential and if he didn't join, he'd be a potential threat. As he produced a ball of fire in his hand, his arrogant smile slowly dropped from his face. They both watched the flame as it got smaller and smaller realizing that his powers were fading. The Alchemy Station had been destroyed. Victor got into his fighting position and Dahven came at him in pure anger, beginning their final battle! With Dahven's powers leaving him, the sims would be evenly matched and the battle could go either way. Victor had to come out on top or Dahven would never leave him or his friends alone. Neither sim held back. Every move was to destroy or keep from being destroyed. Becca, the safety of Victor's friends, his own life...these thoughts were ever present and useful but if not kept in check, they could work against him. Dahven used that moment of fear and Victor hit the floor.
Victor caught Dahven's foot slowly pushing it away from his neck. This caught the Mayor off guard as it seemed the young sim gained more strength. Victor found his focus and unleashing a barrage of hits leaving Dahven struggling to keep his balance and a final jump kick to the chest ended the battle. Victor defeated Dahven. He walked away not paying attention to the last effort to produce a fire blast. Sam then walked up behind him and broke a bottle of elixir over his head. His powers, as well as his mind, were diminished as he began to decompose. 'Let's go, kid,' said Sam. All Victor could say was, 'Wow.'
With a little more searching and calling out to her, Victor and Sam found Becca. After a long hug, she explained how those 'idiots' locked her in a room with her sister. She was annoyed at first but it did give them time to talk. Maybe Sugar would be more careful who she dates. Evidence of kidnapping and testimony from Lenny Shutter was enough to put Rubble, her squad, and Mason (who survived the fall) away but Conor and Jeffery mysteriously vanished from the scene. Victor and his friends walked out of the Mansion meeting a relieved Caroline. 'I should slap both of you,' she said referring to Romeo and Victor. Sam quickly volunteered and Romeo just rolled his eyes.
It was a night to remember. A group of unlikely heroes was victorious in protecting their city and the only thing left to do was party (Romeo's Treat)!
